Two Thousand Years

The lands of Aubigny have been farmed continuously since Roman times. Archaeological evidence—a Gallo-Roman stele preserved at the site—testifies to occupation and viticulture as early as the 1st century AD.

The Cistercians, 1132

In 1132, Cistercian monks from Cluny established a monastery and vineyards here. The same terroir that suited their purposes then continues to produce exceptional wines today. The lineage is unbroken.
